Coronavirus: The Board requests de-escalation for the province, although with possible restrictions in Malaga and Rincón | BE Malaga | Hour 14 Malaga

The Andalusian Government has asked the Government to de-escalate the province from Malaga to complete to go to phase 1 and that of all health districts although with numerous restrictions in the case of Malaga capital and Rincón de la Victoria (Malaga district) because don’t comply the contagion parameters established by the central executive, as indicated by the Andalusian Government.

The counselor Aguirre concluded by indicating that the intention of his department is “to avoid the recruitment of people beyond what is strictly the work environment.”

However, the person in charge of Health has not alluded to the terraces or hotels directly, whose opening is also planned in phase 1 of the de-escalation from May 11, although with a capacity limit of 50 percent in the case of the terraces or without the possibility of using common areas in relation to hotels or tourist houses.

The Andalusian Government does include a request to the central executive to move the rest of the province’s districts to the next phase with all the opening measures included, that is, the districts of the Costa del Sol, the Vega de Antequera, the Valle del Guadalhorce, the Serranía de Ronda and the Axarquía.

The last word is in the hands of the Central Executive.

The Malaga district has the higher ratio of infections per hundred thousand inhabitants of all Andalusia in the last 14 days, according to the data collected by the Andalusian Institute of Statistics: they are 399 positive in that period of time compared to other health districts with just 12 infections, such as those detected in the Serranía de Ronda or the Axarquía.

Phase 1 of the deconfinition plan includes the opening of 50 percent of the terraces of bars and restaurants, the Hotels without the use of common areas or the celebration of street markets and street vending to a third of its capacity. Meetings with a maximum of 10 people, the opening of museums to a third of its capacity or holding cultural shows outdoors with less than 200 attendees.
