Standard has been puzzling for several weeks now. Nicolas Raskin and Maxime Lestienne, among others, have been hit by the corona virus in recent weeks and the malaise continues.
On Thursday Standard will play European in Poland. During the mandatory tests, 6 new infections came to light.
Collins Fai, Konstantinos Laifis, Damjan Pavlovic, Eden Shamir, Moussa Sissako and Abdoul Tapsoba received bad news.
“Those players will not be part of the Standard delegation that will travel to Poland on Wednesday morning,” it said.
Pavlovic, Sissako and Tapsoba had already been quarantined in a previous collection. Shamir was quoted in the positive cases on October 24.
