As announced by Krzysztof Saczka, currently acting as Chief Sanitary Inspector, a new model of reporting cases of infections and deaths has been introduced from today.
It turns out that the change in the method of reporting also affects the reports that voivodeship and poviat sanitary and epidemiological stations published on their websites and social channels.
The Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday evening the launch of a new page on which cases of coronavirus will be reported on a social networking site:
“It is here! Data on the daily COVID-19 incidence to the poviat level. Visualizations also available. Thank you to everyone who has worked intensively on this website in the last weeks!” – wrote on Twitter Adam Niedzielski.
However, the virologist Dr. Paweł Grzesiowski reacted to the message of the minister of health, cooling the optimism of the minister:
“Mr. Minister, this is an extension to poviats, but very basic, even raw data, additionally misleading, because the title in the death column” Fatal cases due to coexisting diseases “is not true” – he wrote on Twitter;
“There are no more precise data published by PSEZ,” he added.
So far, 909,066 people have been infected in Poland. Only today the Ministry of Health informed about 10,139 new infections.
