In Estonia, scientists have created a spray against the coronavirus COVID-19, which protects against all known strains of infection. It is reported by Postman Sunday, August 1st.

Laboratory studies have shown that BioBlock nasal spray provides protection against both the original strain and the Delta strain of Indian origin, as well as British, South African and Brazilian strains.

“Bioblock is an innovative Estonian product, the concept of which was developed by the Icosagen researchers under the guidance of Professor Marta Ustav,” the statement says.

For the development and sale of BioBlock, a consortium was formed, which included scientists and specialists from Chemi-Pharm, Icosagen, the University of Tartu, the Estonian University of Life Sciences and OÜ Teadus ja Tegu. The technology of the product is patented.

BioBlock Nasal Spray is manufactured and sold by Chemi-Pharm.

Earlier this week Estonia sent Ukraine a batch of vaccine AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria). This batch of the drug will be mainly used to immunize reserve military personnel in Ukraine.
