The novel corona virus behaves more like the cause of influenza and not like the Sars virus. It could spread more easily than previously thought, Chinese researchers write in the New England Journal of Medicine. Specifically, the scientists analyzed the nose and throat swabs of 18 patients suffering from Covid-19. In one case, the virus was detectable in the nose and throat, although the patient had no symptoms.
