A debate with a different tone and dynamic: without shrillness
In the first half hour of the debate, the climate that dominated the event that takes place at the CNN studios in Washington DC has been remarkable. Biden and Sanders are defending their points in a calm way, without the shrillness that we have seen in other confrontations.

There are several reasons for this: first, Both want to project calm amid the coronavirus crisis and project confidence to voters. A knife fight between the two candidates would not look very good among public opinion, which could interpret that both are more concerned with scoring political points than attending to the collective emergency.
