USAs president Joe Biden ordered a new investigation last week to get to the bottom of how the coronavirus originated.
The president ordered the intelligence services to present a report on the case within three months in hopes of clarifying the origin of the virus.
It is still believed that the Huanan sea market, located in the epicenter of Wuhan in China, plays a key role in the outbreak of the coronavirus.
The market, where wild animals were sold, was the place where the very first corona patients were infected.
However, it is still very uncertain whether the pandemic started on the market, and the WHO has said that they are still working from several possible theories about the origin of the virus.

Virologist Eddie Holmes at the University of Sydney is among those behind President Biden.
He demands increased efforts to find the origin of the virus, and believes the World Health Organization (WHO) must look at which animals were on the market at the end of 2019 to get to the bottom of the mystery.
“As wildlife poses the greatest risk, this should have been a priority in the WHO’s market investigation,” Holmes said. The Guardian.
New discovery: – The top of the iceberg
The maritime market has been closed since the beginning of 2020, but WHO experts visited the market during their visit to Wuhan this year.
In January, a group of WHO experts traveled to the Wuhan epicenter to find the origin of the coronavirus.

According to The Guardian, however, a report shows that WHO researchers interviewed only two of Huanan Sea Market’s homeowners during their visit, and that none of those interviewed were involved in the pet trade.
Virologist Holmes is an expert on the evolution and emergence of infectious diseases, and is now calling for the bode owners who were involved in the pet trade in 2019 to be interviewed.
He believes this will be of great importance in the hunt for the virus’ origin.
– However, I am not sure who controlled the WHO’s schedule, so it may have been out of their control. At the very least, these booth owners must be interviewed again in the further investigation of the virus’ origin, he tells the newspaper.

WHO team: Data «no one has seen before»
Holmes believes the most important thing is to find out which animals were on the market between August and December in 2019.
– There must be complete disclosure of this information. Once these animals are identified, where the animals came from – farms, traders and even those who lived wild must be tracked, and all animals must be tested using a number of different approaches, says the professor.
The Guardian has not been able to get a comment from those who own the sea market or any of the estate owners.

After President Biden ordered a new investigation, the theory that the virus may have originated from a laboratory in Wuhan has been given new air under its wings.
