Coronavirus November 9. Mexico adds 972 thousand cases of Covid and 95 thousand deaths

The Director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health, Jose Luis Alomía Zegarra, indicated during the update of the Daily Technical Report of the pandemic caused by Sars-Cov2 that the number of deaths this Monday, November 9, amounts to 95,225, while confirmed cases of the virus add 972 thousand 785.

The federal official, reiterated, in the afternoon conference that the risk traffic light at the national level indicates that two entities remain at a high level (Chihuahua and Durango); 18 states are in orange, 11 remain in the medium level, that is, yellow and only Campeche continues with a green traffic light.

As for the number of people who have been studied, it amounts to two million 516 thousand 413, where one million 184 thousand 968 have been discarded for the virus.

Alomía Zegarra, also detailed that the suspected cases without a sample amount to 188,124, where 118,264 are suspects with no possibility of result and 52,272 have the possibility of result.

Regarding suspicious deaths, he indicated that those without a sample total 10,759, of which 4,406 suspicious deaths have no possibility of result, while 457 still have possibilities.

The Director of Epidemiology also updated the figures for hospital occupation where he indicated that at the national level for the segment of general care beds there are 28,086 beds, where 18,859 are available while 9,227 are occupied, that is, 33%.

And the entities with the highest occupancy are Chihuahua with 84%, Durango with 74%, Coahuila with 67%, Nuevo León with 59% and Aguascalientes with 55%.

As for beds with a ventilator to provide care for critically ill patients, throughout the country they total 10,245, of which 7,630 are available, while 26% are occupied, since they total 2,615.

Among the states with the most occupancy is Chihuahua with 57%, followed by Aguascalientes with 55%, Zacatecas occupies the third place with 46%, as well as Durango also with 46% and Nuevo León with 45% occupancy.
