As reported by theIndependentOn the basis of the responses to the questionnaire, two profiles were identified: one “antisocial”, connected to those who are more resistant to anti-Covid measures, and one “empathetic”, connected to those who, on the other hand, respect the restrictions.
The “antisocial” profile – The “antisocial” profile is linked to higher scores on questions related to “insensitivity, deceit, hostility, impulsiveness, irresponsibility, manipulation and risk taking.” Traits, the study notes, “typical of antisocial personality disorder.” subjects connected to the “antisocial” profile also scores lower in the context of affective resonance.
The “empathic” profile – The “empathic” profile, on the other hand, is connected to higher scores in the affective resonance and lower scores in the questions associated with antisocial personality disorder.
The team that conducted the study hopes the findings will help and convince relevant authorities to do more to educate people about right behaviors. “By identifying people with traits of antisocial disorder, it is possible to carry out targeted interventions aimed at increasing awareness of the importance of containment measures and the consequent compliance with them”, explained the scientists.
