The global epicenter of Covid-19 is considering a gradual reopening. New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo lifted the veil on Sunday on a first deconfinement plan. But the one who imposed himself during this crisis as one of the main democratic leaders wants to be cautious. From mid-May, businesses presenting little risk, located in the north of the state, relatively little affected, could reopen their doors.
Industry and construction, for which teleworking is impossible, could be the first allowed to resume normal activity. Otherwise, the restrictions are expected to apply for weeks or even months. Andrew Cuomo has yet to give any indication regarding New York City.
