Most dead in New York
New York has by far the most US victims in the corona pandemic with around 280 deaths, according to the Johns Hopkins University. Nationwide, the number of deaths was already over 1,000. Far-reaching curfews apply to the cultural and economic center. Restaurants, bars, schools, museums and Broadway shows are closed.
