Coronavirus: new screenings organized in Eure-et-Loir

New free Covid-19 screenings will be organized in Eure-et-Loir.

  • Tuesday September 8, from 3 to 7 p.m., at the Maison Pour Tous (MPT) des Petits Clos (4 avenue François-Mitterrand) in Chartres.
  • Wednesday September 9, from 2 to 6 p.m., place du Phénix (Beauvoir district) in Châteaudun.
  • Wednesday September 9, from 2 to 6 p.m., place St Pol in Nogent-le-Rotrou.
  • Thursday September 10, from 3 to 7 p.m., place des Oriels in Dreux

People wishing to be tested will undergo an RT-PCR virological test (nasal sample) which determines whether the individual is a carrier of the virus at the time of the sample.

The screening only takes 5 minutes. The result is communicated within 72 hours.

The Regional Health Agency, which strongly encourages the population to participate in this screening, indicates: “These operations aim to reinforce the knowledge of the level of circulation of the virus on the department. They will make it possible, in the event of discovery of a positive result, to trigger the search for possible contacts, to alert them in order to better protect them and thus break the chains of transmission of the virus. “

This free screening is open to anyone from 11 years old. People who come to be tested must bring their Vitale card or, if applicable, their identity document. A mask is also necessary.
