Following the decisions taken by the Concertation Committee, the Government of Wallonia decided, on a proposal from the Minister of the Economy Willy BORSUS, to take measures in favor of the sectors still affected or which had to close during a given period.
The platform to be able to submit a claim for compensation will be accessible at this address https://indemnitecovid.wallonie.be/fr and according to the following schedule:
• Compensation 14 (horeca, caterers, nightclubs): May 7
• Indemnity 16 (sports halls, contact professions, shops open by appointment, etc.): May 12
• Compensation 13 (specific sectors: travel agencies, events, etc.): May 19 (if receipt by then of the agreement of the European Commission, in accordance with the legal procedure).
The aim is to ensure that these indemnities are processed as quickly as possible. The administration services have also been and will be further strengthened to ensure rapid processing.
The last two indemnities (coach operators and B2B) still need to be the subject of technical and logistical developments. The opening date for these two allowances should be able to be communicated next week.
