Coronavirus, Municipality by Municipality map updated

How is the Coronavirus moving in the municipalities of our region? The photograph comes from the weekly update of the Fvg Civil Protection map.

As always, the first glance is that of the white territories, or rather at the moment Covid-free. This week there are nine, many of which are concentrated in the western Friuli foothills area, which was hit hard at the beginning of the year. It is about Andreis, Cimolais, Clauzetto, Dogna, Drenchia, Erto e Casso, Fanna, Frisanco e Lauco.

The former province of Pordenone, all in very soft tones, is confirmed to be the least affected by the virus at this stage, while most of the former provinces of Udine and of Gorizia have a high incidence. The most intense, patchy colors are found in Carnia a Ovaro, with a prevalence of 22.4 cases per thousand inhabitants (45 positive), a Treppo Ligosullo with 21.7 cases (17 positives) and a Paluzza, with 20.2 cases per thousand (48 positives).

Going down to the plain, it stands out too, with 20.2 cases per thousand and 56 people currently positive; important prevalence also a Tricesimo, with 18.3 infections per thousand and 139 positive, ea Pagnacco, where the index stands at 18, 2 and the positives are 92.

Also this week, an intense circulation between Valleys of Natisone and Collio area: the highest index is recorded a Dolegna with 30.8 cases per thousand (12 positives), followed by Prepotto at 23.5 (19 positives), Savogna at 22.8 (11 positives) e Stregna to 22.6 (nine active cases).

Always in the Isonzo a Turriaco the index is at 24.8 (69 positives), a Degree at 22.2 (188 currently positive), a Farra d’Isonzo is at 19.4 (34 positive) ea San Pier d’Isonzo at 18.8 (38 positives).

The ranking of the capital cities also confirms the scarce circulation in Western Friuli, with Pordenone which registers just 3.1 cases per thousand residents, equal to 158 currently positive; to Trieste the positives are 1,579 which, in relation to the population, give an incidence equal to 7.8 cases per thousand. Head to head, finally, between Gorizia e Udine: the first registers 343 positives (equal to 9.7 per thousand), while the second 1.046, with an incidence of 10.6 cases per thousand, which again this week gives it the unenviable scepter of the most affected city.
