In the streets of Mexicali, in Baja California, there is a mural that paints Jorge Campos, one of the last great goalkeepers of the Mexican team while doing one of his usual shortcuts, only this time it’s more symbolic, because was shaped while stopping the coronavirus, the disease that has caused more than two thousand deaths in the country.

The work was done by the muralist Jorge Castro and the tattoo artist Edgar Ruiz, who published on his networks the difficulty it took him to carry out said work in which Campos appears in his classic colored uniform from the early 90’s in the middle of a flag with the colors of Mexico.

It was an honor working for the first time with this guy., being my first time working directly on a mural. Definitely a great experience for this life journey ”, he wrote Ruiz.

The idea was conceived by both artists without receiving financial support from anyone and, according to the Soy Futbol portal, they invested the amount of 5,000 pesos to carry it out.
