The Ministry of Health reported that the figures on the progress of the new pandemic coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 in Mexico as of June 27, there were 26,381 deaths from covid-19 and 212,000 802 accumulated cases, of which 25,700 are active and 67,999 cases classified as suspect.
According to Ricardo Cortés Alcalá, the head of the General Directorate for Health Promotion, as of today, 602 new deaths and 4,410 new cases of covid-19.
He added that of the 26,381 deaths that have been recorded, 1,972 are suspicious deaths and confirmation of whether they died from covid-19 is still awaiting confirmation.
