Coldiretti: one in five Italians still without a Green Pass

Despite the rush to vaccinations, about one in five Italians who have not had at least one administration or have recovered from Covid in the last six months are still without the Green Pass and who therefore only after having had the swab will be able to sit indoors in bars, restaurants and farmhouses. This is what emerges from the Coldiretti analysis published on the occasion of the entry into force of the obligation of the green pass for indoor restaurants, bars (but not at the counter), cinemas, theaters, museums; gyms, festivals, stadiums, congresses and major events. The measure immediately affects about 360 thousand restaurants, trattorias, pizzerias, farmhouses, of which only a little more than half have outdoor spaces where, however, the number of seats has significantly increased thanks to the flexibility granted on the use of public spaces.

In difficulty, continues Coldiretti, are above all the establishments located in urban centers close between traffic and asphalt while on the contrary the agritourisms enjoy the availability of large areas abroad that allow them to guarantee the best distances. Furthermore, the green pass is not required for those staying in the structure as is the case for hotels. With the entry into force of the new rules and the extension of the mandatory use of the green pass, from school to transport, launched by the government for September 1st, the vaccination campaign is expected to accelerate against the approximately 11 million Italians who according to Coldiretti’s estimate, they do not yet have it available.
