Lombardy, new ordinance: from July 10 green light to contact sports
The president of the Lombardy Region, Attilio Fontana, has signed a new ordinance, valid from Wednesday 1 July to Tuesday 14 July, with which the obligation to wear masks or any other mouth-protecting garment is confirmed for the coronavirus and nose also outdoors, except in the case of intense motor or sports activities. In the ordinance, then, it is specified that “the resumption of contact sports is expected to start from 10 July, subject to the occurrence of the conditions set out in letter g) of article 1 of the Prime Minister’s Decree of 11 June 2020”, or that Regions and autonomous provinces, in agreement with the Ministry of Health and the delegated government authority in the field of sport, have previously verified the compatibility of the aforementioned activities with the trend of the epidemiological situation in their respective territories, in accordance with the guidelines of the same Dpcm.
