The latest data on the incidence of Coronavirus in the region continue to evolve favorably. Elche has registered 28 new positives this Tuesday, which represents a reduction of ten cases compared to last Friday’s update. Santa Pola has gone from two positives to none and in Crevillent, from no positive on Friday to six new infections this Tuesday.
These figures show how infections have been declining for a few weeks due to the advancement of the vaccination process. A few days ago, the percentage of 70% of Elche and Elche vaccinated with the full schedule was already met.
Regarding the vaccination scheduled for this week, 105,024 doses will be administered; especially from Pfizer and Moderna. Most will be used for second doses for the population group 12 to 39 years old. In addition, from yesterday and during the days of today and Thursday doses will be administered without the need for an appointment at the Toscar Sports Center.
