In the course of the past seven days, as of Saturday, the authorities have recorded an average of 183.5 infections per 100,000 inhabitants, as the State Health Office announced at 4 p.m. On Friday the value was 184.1, on Thursday it was 186.3.
43 of the 44 urban and rural districts in Baden-Württemberg had an incidence above 50. In the district of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald the value was 49.3. Health authorities can only trace contacts from infected people below this mark, as it was repeatedly said. 39 circles tear the 100 threshold, 28 even the 165 mark. If this threshold is exceeded three days in a row, the schools must close according to the federal emergency brake. The Tuttlingen district has the highest incidence (281.3).
The number of confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic rose by 2,860 to 449,244. Eleven other people died of an infection with or related to the coronavirus, bringing the number of deaths to 9,377.
