“There are egregious cases when dexamethasone is prescribed to each other on the first and second day on an outpatient basis, I think all doctors understand, and everyone’s hair stands on end. So you just make yourself very bad, this is unacceptable,” he added.
Stepanov recalled that antibiotics in the first days of infection are absolutely useless for the virus.
“You should not use medications that you do not need. Yes, you need to control your condition, saturation. As for antibiotics, the first days there is no bacflora, they affect it exclusively,” Stepanov said.
