Initially Office of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, which maintains statistics on COVID-19, released data that indicated 16,766 new cases.
In particular, 4747 people were hospitalized yesterday, deaths – 290, recovered – 7124 patients. Among the cases of COVID, 752 children and 420 health workers.
Most infections are in Lviv (1407), Odessa (1282), Kiev (1273), Dnepropetrovsk (1171), regions and Kiev (1226).
In total, 123,500 coronavirus tests were carried out yesterday. Of these, by PCR – 55,500, by ELISA – 22,470, research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 45,530.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 1 million 632 thousand 131 people have already been infected in the country, 1 million 297 thousand 282 have recovered, deaths – 31 751.
