According to scientists, over the past week in Ukraine there has been a significant decrease in the growth rate of the number of new cases of coronavirus.
“The statistics of the last few days give reason to hope that the overall epidemic dynamics is developing according to a more optimistic scenario than was predicted. For three days in a row, the number of new detections is about 20% less than predicted,” the NAS said.
Scientists predict that with such dynamics, the peak of the third wave of coronavirus in Ukraine should be expected within one to two weeks, and one can hope for a real improvement in the situation with COVID-19 not earlier than in 3-4 weeks.
“If the statistical dynamics are not the result of unexpected delays in the receipt of data, then the combination of positive signs allows us to expect a peak period of one to two weeks,” the NAS said.
