Over the past day, on October 1, 11,809 new coronavirus infections were detected in Ukraine. Most cases were recorded in Kharkiv (1159), Lviv (1102), Dnepropetrovsk (965), Odessa (762) and Zaporozhye (692) regions.

In particular, over the past day, 2,692 people were hospitalized from COVID-19; 203 people died from coronavirus, and 3,469 people recovered.
At the same time, the coronavirus was tested yesterday: by PCR – 46,962 people, ELISA – 11,787, and by express tests – 32,354 people.
In total, since the beginning of the pandemic in the country, 2,447,222 people fell ill with COVID-19, 2,261,924 recovered, and 56,649 died from coronavirus.
