CONTAGES INCREASE BEHIND THE BRIDGE IN THE VALENCIAN COMMUNITY
A total of 118 Valencian municipalities have detected new infections of coronavirus during the San José bridge, and for the first time since the summer, none have exceeded the 100 positives in a weekend.
Valencia has been the city with the most registered cases, with a total of 75; followed by Elche, with 31; Alicante, with 29; the Vall d’Uixó, with 19; Castelló de la Plana, with 18; Torrent, with 17; Orihuela, with 16; Aldaia, with 12 and Alaquàs, with 10.
There are nine more positives in Benicarló, Sagunto and Sant Vicent del Raspeig; eight in Elda; seven in Alginet, Benicàssim, Gandia and Vila-real; six in Benidorm, Sueca and Xàtiva and five in Barxeta, Benetússer, Burriana, Mislata, Nules, Oropesa, Quart de Poblet and Xirivella.
Alzira, Callosa de Segura, Dénia, l’Alcora, Manises, Paterna, Puçol, Santa Pola and Torrevieja have detected four infections, and Albatera, Alberic, Algemesí, Calp, Catarroja, Massamagrell, Museros, Onda, Rafelguaraf, Tavernes de la Valldigna and Vinaròs, three.
Alcoy, Alfafar, Almassora, Beniparrell, Burjassot, Canals, Carcaixent, Godelleta, Hondón de los Frailes, Eliana, La Pobla Llarga, Vila Joiosa, Novelda, Ontinyent, Paiporta, Riba-roja de Túria, San Antonio de Benagéber and Vilallonga add two positives.
In Alborache, Alboraia, Almàssera, Altea, Aspe, Benferri, Benissanó, Betxí, Buñol, Cabanes, Canet d’En Berenguer, Carlet, Castalla, Catral, Chiva, Cullera, Dolores, the Genovés, the Pinós, the Real de Gandia, Gátova, Guardamar del Segura, Ibi, l’Alcúdia, l’Alfàs del Pi, l’Ènova, l’Olleria, la Llosa de Ranes, la Nucia, la Pobla de Vallbona, les Coves de Vinromà, Los Montesinos, Moncada, Moncofa , Mutxamel, Oliva, Onil, Petrer, Picassent, Pilar de la Horadada, Polop, Rafal, Rafelbunyol, Rocafort, Rojales, Sax, Sedaví, Torreblanca, Turís, Vallada, Xàbia and Xaló a contagion has been detected.
With these new infections added to the weekend, right now there are active positives (detected in the last 14 days) in 177 municipalities.
Regarding the number of deaths, a total of 28. Alicante, Elche, Elda and València mourn two deaths. +
