The neighborhoods where COVID has raised the price of their homes

The pandemic has hit hard in many sectors of the economy, one of them is housing, which in Spain it has suffered a rise of 4.5% compared to the same months of the year but prepandemic. The average price of used housing in Spain is 1.81 euros for each square meter, a figure that has revealed which are the most expensive neighborhoods in the country, and which are the ones that have become more expensive.

A study by Idealista has revealed which are the neighborhoods that have increased the price the most, leaving 5 of the top 10 located in Andalusia, representative data of the new way of life of the Spanish.

The first position is for the neighborhood of Las Salinas, in Roquetas de Mar (Almería), which has seen an increase in its homes to 46.3% in these two years, up to a price of 1,870 euros / m2. Next on the list, with notable percentages also, Golf Guadiana, in Badajoz (41.4%), the La Concepción neighborhood in Cartagena (41.3%) and Nagüeles, in Marbella (41.2%).
