28,400 teachers are looking for a permanent place in Madrid
About 28,400 applicants will face the oppositions starting this Saturday in order to win one of the 3,700 positions for Secondary and Vocational Training teachers convened by the Community of Madrid.
Is about the highest number in the history of the region in a single call and its organization has been an “important effort” for the regional government given the health situation generated by Covid-19, according to the Community of Madrid in a statement.
Despite the improvement in the coronavirus figures, The Madrid Executive has been working for months on the security device to guarantee compliance with sanitary measures, so the protocol has already been presented to union representatives and is published for their consultation.
To carry out this test, the number of applicants has been distributed in 525 courts located in 109 venues distributed by the five territorial area addresses of the entire Community of Madrid (North, South, East, West and Capital).
As a novelty, every candidate must sign a responsible statement to ensure that they had not presented symptoms on the day of the test or 10 days before, in addition to not having been in close contact with people with symptoms or diagnosed with Covid-19 in that same period. It also undertakes to comply with all the security measures established for the test.
This statement must be delivered by the applicant on the day of the test. In the document, the body and specialty for which it is presented will be indicated, as well as the court number and seat in which it is examined.
In addition, other standards have been established such as use of mandatory mask and interpersonal distance of 1.5 metersTherefore, no more than 20 applicants may remain in the classroom in any case.
For the organization of this event, there will also be staff who collaborate with the court and who will be in charge of organizing and inspecting the development of the test, standing at the entrance of the centers to guide opponents and prevent crowds.
In those cases in which access to the classrooms is possible, it will occur through several entrances. What’s more, Access to the toilets will be controlled, checking the use of a mask and requesting the use of a disinfectant hydrogel. To do this, the installation of dispensers will be ensured, as well as the supply of water, soap and hand drying paper.
Before the conclusion of the financial year, as well as at its end, we will proceed to sanitize all spaces to be used (classrooms, bathrooms, corridors, stairs, hall, etc.) by cleaning staff.
Likewise, access to the tests will be staggered, in such a way that, although they will start at 9.30 am, Applicants may be summoned after 8 am in order to avoid crowds.
