ANDALUSIA: THE POSITIVITY RATE IS 327.17
Andalusia has risen in 100 cases since last Monday its incidence rate of coronavirus cases confirmed by PCR and antigen tests in the last 14 days to stand at 327.17, although it is still 34 points lower than the national average, estimated at 361.66, and figure as the seventh autonomous community with the best data, according to data from the Ministry of Health.
The rise in positive cases of coronavirus in recent days that has led the Board to adopt new restrictive measures in cities such as Granada, Seville, Córdoba and Jaén places Andalusia at a lower distance from the national average and in figures cataloged by the Ministry of Health as “very high risk”, although only six communities presented a more favorable rate in the last two weeks: Canarias, with 81.41; Balearic Islands, with 150.68; Valencian Community, with 153.16; Galicia, with 192.11; Cantabria, with 225.10; and Asturias, with 300.84.
Andalusia gains one place in the ranking in the incidence rate per 100,000 inhabitants in the last seven days, where it registers the sixth lowest figure with 165.14 –also within the parameters considered by Health as “very high risk” – and only surpassed by the Canary Islands, with 44.02; Valencian Community, with 79.84; Balearic Islands, with 82.82; Galicia, with 113.54; and Cantabria, with 151.27.
By cons, Andalusia does exceed the national average in the rate of positivity in diagnostic tests by PCR and antigen tests, where it registers 16.5% higher than the 15% set by Health as “very high risk” and 12.20% for the whole of Spain. The Andalusian rate is only surpassed by Melilla, with 28.21%; Ceuta, with 26.57%; Aragon, with 20.06%; and Castilla León with 18.15%.
