MIRANDA DE EBRO (BURGOS) IS CONFINED FROM TODAY

The Board has published this Saturday in the BOCyL an Order of the Ministry of Health by which they are adopted restrictive and confinement measures in the Burgos town of Miranda de Ebro with the aim of containing the spread of the coronavirus.

These actions will come into effect from 00:00 on Sunday, September 27 and their duration is expected to initially extend during fourteen days, until Saturday, October 10, a period that may be extended depending on the evolution of the epidemiological situation.

There will also be collaboration of the State Security Forces and Bodies. Among the measures, restriction on the free entry and exit of people from the municipality, except for properly justified displacements. In this regard, they will travel for assistance to health centers, services and establishments; attendance at classroom activity of schools, for compliance with labor, professional or business obligations; return to the place of habitual residence; assistance and care for the elderly, minors, dependents, people with disabilities or especially vulnerable people; due to force majeure or situation of need; and for any other activity of a similar nature.

Road traffic is allowed and roads that pass or cross these municipalities as long as their origin and destination are outside and although the movement of residents is allowed, travel and non-essential activities are discouraged.

Visits to residential centers for the elderly are suspended, except for individual circumstances in which additional measures of care and humanization are applied, which will be adopted by the management of the center. Likewise, the exits of the residents to the outside are suspended.

Consumption in bars is prohibited.

Family reunions with a maximum of 10 people.

Sporting events limited to 25 people indoors and 50 in public.

The Board recalls that it is “essential” the individual commitment to comply with the basic measures for the prevention of COVID-19 and “imperative” the need for social compliance with regard to the more specific obligations that are included in the Plan of measures of prevention and control to face the health crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in Castilla y León.
