Ordinary hospitalizations are slightly down, while those in intensive care are stable

SASSARI. A total of 56,735 cases of positive Covid-19 have been ascertained in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency. In the latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 40 new cases were detected. In total, 1,311,051 swabs were performed, for an overall increase of 2,079 tests compared to the previous figure.
There were no new deaths (1,465 in all). On the other hand, 130 (-1) people are currently hospitalized in the medical area, while the number of patients in intensive care remains unchanged (14). There are 12,480 people in home isolation and a total of 42,646 (+76) healed.
Of the 56,735 positive cases ascertained overall, 14,846 (+9) were detected in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, 8,652 (+4) in Southern Sardinia, 5,159 (+2) in Oristano, 10,867 (+5) in Nuoro, 17,197 (+20) in Sassari.
