The press office of the Opole voivode informed about the new outbreak. A positive test for the presence of coronavirus was confirmed in 82 out of 85 residents of the Nursing Home in Jędrzejów.

“There are 85 residents in DPS Jędrzejów, 82 residents tested positive for the presence of coronavirus, one of the patients has a negative result, 2 are ambiguous. Currently, 5 residents are staying in SP ZOZ in Kędzierzyn-Koźle” – the voivode’s services reported.

Authorities also said there are 24 workers at the facility with coronavirus.

“24 employees of the facility obtained a positive result, 37 negative, 2 ambiguous. Patients with an ambiguous test result will have a repeated examination in 3 days. The Opole voivode monitors the situation, remains in contact with the management of the facility and the body managing the above-mentioned unit” – added.

The Ministry of Health said on Sunday that 84 cases of the coronavirus had been detected in the last 24 hours. As we already know, most of them were recorded in the DPS in Jędrzejów.
