Coronavirus infections have been detected in several office employees of PLL LOT, the Polish carrier announced on Wednesday. The entire office building of the company has been disinfected and all employees are tested.
As we read in the release, the procedures in force at LOT Polish Airlines allowed for the early detection of COVID-19 infection in several office workers. “Including passing the disease asymptomatically. These people were covered by medical care, and all employees of the company’s headquarters were prophylactically sent for screening ” – stated in the carrier’s release.
Added that disinfection was undergoing the entire LOT office building, and many people continue to work remotely.

People working stationary, just like from the beginning of the pandemic personal protective equipment is made available and working conditions have been created enabling social distancing.
According to LOT, members of the flying personnel are also subject to regular tests, which allows you to maintain safety on board the carrier’s aircraft. In their case, the frequency of testing depends, among others, on on the degree of threat or the directions from which the cruises were made.
