According to the report, none of these departments had deaths related to the new coronavirus. from June 22 to 25.

The epidemiologist Cesar Munayco, executive director of the CDC, indicated that this is a sample of the subepidemics in different stages of evolution and magnitude living in the country.

The specialist explained that, according to the analysis of epidemiological surveillance carried out at the national level, These three regions have slow growing epidemics.

However, Munayco called on the population to don’t let your guard down against the virus, which is highly lethal and easily contagious.

In that sense, reiterated prevention measures, such as the permanent use of a mask, respect for the physical distance of at least one meter and washing hands with soap and water.

At another time, the official highlighted that last June 24 eight regions had no deaths by COVID-19: Amazonas, Ayacucho, Huancavelica, Pasco, Puno, Tacna, Tumbes and Ucayali.
