Coronavirus in Mendoza: 2 new positives and 8 recovered

Mendoza added two new cases of coronavirus this Sunday, so there are already 157 accumulated infections since the pandemic began.

The two new positives are women: a 61-year-old woman, who was infected by close contact with another person who was already infected, and who is hospitalized in Lencinas; on the other, a 67-year-old woman, who was also infected by a person who was already positive for COVID 19, and who is isolated in the Central Hospital.

In addition, there are 8 people who were discharged.

– A 22-year-old man admitted to the Lencinas Hospital.

– A 33-year-old man admitted to the Lencinas Hospital.

– A 33-year-old man admitted to the Spanish Hospital.

– A 47-year-old man admitted to the Spanish Hospital.

– A 34-year-old man admitted to the Spanish Hospital.

– A 55-year-old woman admitted to the Spanish Hospital.

– A 34-year-old man admitted to the Spanish Hospital.

– A 35-year-old man admitted to the El Carmen Hospital.

On the other hand, 36 samples were analyzed in the Public Health Laboratory and were negative.

Of the 157 confirmed cases, 97 were due to close contact with someone who came from another country or tested positive for COVID-19, and 50 were imported. Meanwhile, 10 are under epidemiological investigation because the link was not confirmed.

The province has 96 people recovered and 10 deaths from COVID-19.
