Coronavirus in Lviv region – the number of deaths in the region has broken a record high

A record number of deaths from coronavirus were recorded in the Lviv region. So, over the past day, 65 deaths were recorded, which is several times more than in other regions.

In addition, Lviv region was included in the top five regions with the highest number of detected COVID cases.

In total, 164,283 people were diagnosed with coronavirus infection there, and over the past day – 959.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,198 people have died from COVID-19 in the region.

Now there are 801 people in hospitals in the region: 762 of them have COVID, 57 are in intensive care, 28 people are connected to ventilators.

Over the past day, 92 people were admitted to medical facilities with coronavirus, and 83 were discharged.
