In Italy, since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic, at least 234,801 people have contracted the Sars-CoV-2 virus (+270 compared to yesterday, for a growth of + 0.1%; yesterday +518). Of these, 33,846 died (+72, + 0.2%; yesterday +85) and 163,781 were discharged (+1.297, + 0.8%; yesterday +1.886). Currently the positive subjects of which there is certainty are 35,877 (-1.099, -3%; yesterday -1.453; the bill rises to 234.801 – as mentioned above – if in the calculation there are also the dead and the healed, counting all the people who have been found positive to the virus since the outbreak.) The data were provided by the Civil Protection. Five regions without cases: Campania, Umbria, Calabria, Molise and Basilicata.
There are 5,002 patients hospitalized with symptoms (-299, -5.6%; yesterday -202), of which 293 in intensive care (-23, -7.3%; yesterday -22).
