Coronavirus in Italy, the July 19 report: 244,434 positive cases and 35,045 deaths

In Italy, since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic, at least 244.434 people (+ 219 * compared to yesterday, + 0.1%; yesterday +249) have contracted the Sars-CoV-2 virus. Of these 35.045 they died (+3; yesterday +14) and were discharged 196.949 (+143, + 0.1%; yesterday +323). Currently the positive subjects of which we are sure are 11,648 (-720 -5.8%; yesterday -88; the bill rises to 244.434 – as mentioned above – if there are also the dead and the cured in the calculation, counting all the people who have been found positive to the virus since the beginning of the epidemic.

* The Molise Region reports that 1 case of 18 July is confirmed negative. The Basilicata Region reports that tomorrow it will communicate the exact number of cases tested and swabs carried out.

There are 743 patients hospitalized with symptoms (-14, -2%; yesterday -14), of which 49 in intensive care (yesterday there were 50).
