Cgil Cisl Uil, serious INPS does not recognize indemnity to asymptomatic positives
The causal “Isolation from Covid”, in fact, reported by family doctors on some sickness certificates, would refer – according to the interpretation given by INPS – to the provisions on quarantine contained in article 26, paragraph 1 of the so-called Cura Italia, which provides for the equivalent of illness for the period spent in quarantine with active surveillance or in fiduciary home permanence with active surveillance for employees in the private sector and which was in force only until last December 31st. The full-blown Covid-19 disease, on the other hand, whether with symptoms or without symptoms, and which therefore requires fiduciary isolation, must be treated for us like any other disease and in accordance with the provisions, and still in force, at the Article 26, paragraph 6 of the so-called Cura Italia, already mentioned. “We absolutely cannot allow workers, subjected to the isolation regime, because they suffer from Covid-19, their salaries to be cut. – underline the trade unionists – We ask INPS to clarify and urgently remedy what is taking place regarding the recognition of Covid-19 disease certificates “.
