Covid: infections and hospitalizations in decline, Piedmont returns to white
The drop in infections and hospital pressure brings Piedmont back, from Monday 7 March, to the white zone. This is what emerges from the Pre-Report of the Ministry of Health and the Higher Institute of Health. In the week of February 21-27, the punctual RT calculated on the date of onset of symptoms remains constant at 0.55 and the incidence is further reduced, which passes to 279.02 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants (it was 372.11). The positive percentage of the swabs is reduced from 15% to 12%. The occupancy rate of intensive care beds also continues to improve, which falls from 6.8% to 5.7%, and that of ordinary beds, which goes from 15.8% to 11.7%, also continues to improve.
