Covid: in Sicily 1,727 new positives, nine deaths
There are 1,727 new cases of Covid19 registered in Sicily compared to 15,168 swabs processed on the island. Yesterday the new positives were 1,710. The positivity rate rises slightly, today it is 11.3%, it was 11.2%. Sicily is in fourth place for infections. The current positives are 73,569 with a decrease of 410 cases. The healed are 2,500 while the victims are 9 bringing the total of deaths to 10,924. On the hospital front, there are 540 inpatients, fourteen fewer than the previous day; in intensive care there are 19, three fewer. At the provincial level there are 471 cases in Palermo, Catania 554, Messina 251, Syracuse 215, Trapani 167, Ragusa 136, Caltanissetta 116, Agrigento 155, Enna 34.
