Admissions, 14 regions above the 15% threshold ordinary wards
There are 14 regions that have currently exceeded the threshold of 15% of admissions in ordinary wards, while none have reached 10% of admissions in intensive care. This is attested by the table of decision-making indicators that accompanies the weekly monitoring of the Covid-19 epidemic by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (Iss) and the Ministry of Health. Among the regions that exceeded the 15% threshold, the highest values are found in Umbria (40.6%), Calabria (30.4%), Valle d’Aosta (29.4%), Sicily (27, 4%) and Basilicata (25.8%). Liguria (22.7%), the autonomous province of Bolzano (19.0%), Campania (18.8%), Abruzzo (18.7%), Friuli Venezia Giulia (18.5%) exceed the limit of 15% , Marche (18%), Puglia (17.2%), Emilia Romagna (16.4%), Trento (15.9%). On the other hand, only two regions approaching the threshold of 10% of admissions in intensive care: Calabria (9%) and Umbria (8.7%).
