Gimbe has continued to decline in infections for 6 weeks
“For 6 consecutive weeks, nationally, there has been a decline in new weekly cases. Deaths are also decreasing: 266 in the last 7 days with an average of 38 per day compared to 44 in the previous week”. This was revealed by the new independent monitoring of the Gimbe Foundation, as of 6-12 October. In particular, in the week in question compared to the previous one, there was a decrease in new cases (18,209 compared to 21,060, or -13.5%) and deaths (266 compared to 311, equal to -14.5%). People in home isolation also decreased (79,511 compared to 86,898, equal to -8.5%), hospitalizations with symptoms (2,665 compared to 2,968, equal to -10.2%) and intensive care (370 compared to 433) , equal to -14.5%).
