In the last 20 months, the employment crisis caused by Covid has not affected everyone without distinction. Unfortunately, the most “salty” bill was paid by the self-employed, ie the self-employed and VAT numbers, which decreased from February 2020 (pre Covid month) to September 2021 (latest available data provided by Istat) of 327 thousand units (-6.3 per cent).
