Coronavirus in Colombia: infected, dead and recovered as of December 14, 2021 | Government | Economy

This December 14, Colombia reported 1,859 new covid infections. That figure came from processing 47,762 tests (19,841 for PCR and 27,921 for antigens).

With the record of this Tuesday, the country accumulates a historical of 5’097.680 infections by covid in the last year and nine months and a total of 28’731.851 samples analyzed.

For now, 4,938,291 people have recovered from the covid and 12,113 continue with the active virus.

The areas of the country that concentrate the most infections are Bogotá (1’467,128), Antioquia (776,755), Valle del Cauca (419,396), Atlántico (341,071) and Cundinamarca (266,782).

Worldwide, the historical number of infected people is 271,325,984.

Regarding deaths, 42 new ones were reported in the country, of which 39 occurred on different days.

Total, the pandemic leaves 129,205 deaths in the national territory, While in the world the deceased have been 5’318.661.

Regarding vaccination, as of December 12, 65,719,722 doses against the coronavirus had been distributed and 60,782,329 had been applied. And the number of fully immunized people, with one or two doses, was 26,245,302.
