Coronavirus, Great Britain risks a flight of doctors. A survey by the ‘Guardian’ demonstrates total dissatisfaction with the measures taken
Shock survey in Great Britain. According to the Guardian newspaper, more than a thousand medici they are considering dropping out of the NHS and moving abroad as a result. The cause? Only the mismanagement of the pandemic by Coronavirus which led the government led by Boris Johnson.
Many of the doctors surveyed would have clearly expressed their frustration at the inability to fight the disease on an equal footing. And so a good chunk of the public health risks disappearing. There are those who are thinking of moving to the private sector, those of seeking their fortune in another country and those of taking a break.
The investigation was conducted by the Doctor’s Association UK and they were interviewed 1,758 doctors across the UK. As many as 1,214, or 69%, replied that “the pandemic and its treatment by the government of frontline doctors are pushing them to leave public health. And 1143 (65%) think that in the near future it will be out of the NHS, the public health system.
Important numbers, added to the fact that the sector is already heavily understaffed. Three out of four doctors complain about the lack of salary increase, especially for trainees and general practitioners. But at the root of the discontent there would also be the lack of personal protective equipment at the peak of Covid-19 and the prohibition for doctors to speak publicly.

In the past 24 hours, the UK has been recording 1,813 new cases of contagion from Coronavirus and it had been 1940 the day before. As if to say the highest number since May 30th.
