Coronavirus in Argentina: another 13 m were recorded …

He Ministry of Health reported this morning 13 new deaths from coronavirus in the country. The death toll from covid-19 in Argentina thus rose to 1,245 the death toll. The mortality rate of the disease is 27.2 per million inhabitants and its case fatality rate is 2.1% of confirmed cases.

In the official report it was indicated that there were 2,189 covid-19 infections that were registered on Sunday in Argentina and 59,933 total infected, with an incidence rate of 132 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

???? * The total number of confirmed cases in Argentina is 59,933, of which 1,245 died. Regarding the confirmed, 1,063 (1.8%) are imported, 21,599 (36%) are close contacts of confirmed cases, 25,600 (42.7%) are cases of community circulation and the rest are under epidemiological investigation.

???? Of the total cases (59,933), 49.5% are women and 50.5% are men.

????Since the last report issued, there were 13 new deaths. 3 men, one 63 years old, resident in the province of Buenos Aires; one 85 years old, resident in the City of Buenos Aires (CABA); one 53 years old, resident in the province of Chaco; and 10 women, three of 60, 38 and 94 years old, residing in the province of Buenos Aires; five of, 71, 89, 96, 84 and 47 years old, residents in the City of Buenos Aires (CABA); one 71-year-old, resident in the province of Neuquén; and one 61-year-old, resident in the province of Chaco. At the moment the number of deceased is 1,245.

????To date, the total number of discharges is 21,138 people.

7.4Yesterday 7,458 new samples were made and since the beginning of the outbreak 344,409 diagnostic tests were carried out for this disease, which is equivalent to 7,589 samples per million inhabitants.

????The number of cases discarded until yesterday is 227,046 (by laboratory and by clinical / epidemiological criteria).

????The main age groups affected by the registered cases correspond to people between 20 and 59 years of age, the average age being 36 years.
