Four fatalities for theCovid-19at the General University Hospital of Elda within a period offive days. The last two deaths recorded this Monday, a 67-year-old man and a woman of the same age who suffered from Alzheimer’s and was a user of the La Molineta de Petrer senior center, were admitted to theICUin serious condition withpneumonia. They were both neighbors of Elda.
The two previous coronavirus deaths occurred on Wednesday, March 18. The first was a 62-year-old Eldense.
The same day in the afternoon the death of a nun from the convent-asylum of the Congregation of theTheresian Missionary Carmelitesin Novelda. He was 93 years old, had a disability and had not had any contact with the outside. He began to have a fever and feel ill around 7:30 pm on Sunday, March 15. The convent director warned theNovelda health centerand the doctor on duty sent an ambulance, which transferred the patient to the General University Hospital of Elda, where she was admitted at around 10:30 at night to the emergency department. But three days later he passed away.
