No reason was given for Harden’s late arrival but he must self-quarantine in his hotel room before he can join the team for training. Before the season hiatus on March 11, Harden was heading for a third straight league leading scorer title. Russell Westbrook, with whom he forms one of the most feared duos in the NBA, is missing, having tested positive for Covid-19, as he himself announced on social networks on Monday. Like him, Sacramento winger Harrison Barnes, also tested positive for the virus and placed in quarantine, will only be allowed to join his franchise after testing negative twice consecutively. In a tweet on Tuesday evening, Barnes said he hoped to be in good health quickly in order to reach the Disney World campus in Orlando.
