Germany
For the first time since April, in Germany were detected over 5 thousand new cases of contagion from Coronavirus in 24 hours. The numbers released by the Robert Koch Institut this morning speak of 5,132 new infections, over a thousand more than yesterday’s 4,122. The previous negative record compared to April dates back to Saturday, when the new positives were 4,721. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the total cases have been 334,585 in the country, deaths caused by Covid-19 9,677, 43 of which in the last 24 hours.
Netherlands
The Dutch government has announced a series of measures, in place since Wednesday, to fight the Coronavirus epidemic, which last week saw a 60% increase in infections.
