New Zealand records its first case of Covid, out of quarantine centers, in over two months. According to health authorities, a 56-year-old woman, recently returned from Europe, tested positive 10 days after completing the mandatory two-week quarantine.
The health ministry reported that the woman tested negative twice before leaving the facility for quarantine on January 13. Two days later she began to have mild symptoms, then after a worsening on Saturday she tested positive for Covid.
